I started at JCrew as an intern in design. Over the years I worked my way up to become the Senior Fashion Editor. My experience there was invaluable. At that time we were set up more like a magazine. At a very young age I was running the fashion department, directing and styling the photo shoots as well as conceiving of the stories and choosing locations, photographers and models. During that period of time, I was lucky enough to work with amazing photographers. I have maintained friendships and working relationships with many of those photographers to this day.
